What I found when we looked closer
Beeville is the seat of Bee County and home to the main campus of Coastal Bend College. It was home to Naval Air Station Chase Field until 1992, and the state prison units nearby have led writers to describe it as a prison town.
A city of 13,543 with a college, corrections facilities, and a regional role generates a wide range of cases for a small department to work.
Following one report through the building
