This page explains how a Code Four user can delete their account and associated data. It is the public deletion resource referenced from the Code Four Google Play Data safety form and from the in-app deletion flow. You do not need to sign in or install the app to read this page or to submit a deletion request by email.
Code Four is sold exclusively to law-enforcement and public-safety agencies. Accounts are provisioned by an agency administrator; officers do not self-register. Because the agency is the controller of the incident reports and other records its officers author, some deletion requests are routed through the agency administrator, as described below.
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Code Four app (iOS or Android):
This deletes your sign-in record, signs you out of every device, and deletes the account data associated with you. Deactivating or signing out is notthe same as deletion — only the Delete Account flow removes the account.
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email. No account or app install is required:
Email support@codefour.uswith the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address tied to your account, and include your name and agency. Code Four verifies the request, coordinates with your agency administrator where required, and confirms when the account has been deleted.
Because agency administrators provision accounts, you may also ask your agency administrator to delete your account directly.
Deleted: your sign-in record and the account data associated with you (profile fields, authentication identity, and active sessions). You are signed out of every device.
Retained:incident reports, narratives, transcripts, evidence, and audit-log entries that name you remain in the agency's tenant. These belong to the agency (the data controller) and are retained per the agency's configured retention policy and applicable law — including for security, data-integrity, and legal-record / chain-of-custody obligations. Requests to access, correct, or delete that underlying agency-owned content are routed through the agency administrator.
Audit logs are retained in line with CJIS Security Policy guidance with locked retention, which prevents early deletion by design.
